DMCA Policy

VideoStream respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Important: Filing a false DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a DMCA notification may be subject to liability for damages, including attorney fees.
Takedown Process
Submit Notice
Send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with all required information.
Review
Our team reviews the notice for completeness and validity within 2 business days.
Takedown
If the notice is valid, the infringing content is removed or disabled promptly.
Counter-Notice
The uploader may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was erroneous.
Requirements for a Valid Takedown Notice
To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- 1A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- 2Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- 3Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient information to locate it (e.g., the URL of the infringing page).
- 4Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Counter-Notice Requirements
If you believe that your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must contain:
- 1Your physical or electronic signature.
- 2Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- 3A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- 4Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court.
Repeat Infringer Policy
VideoStream maintains a strict repeat-infringer policy. Users or operators found to repeatedly upload infringing content will have their access to the platform permanently terminated.
